It’s finally finished! I started my Sew Together Bag (pattern by SewDemented) in a workshop. Note I said “started”, not finished.
Fast forward a few months – one QuiltCon submission, holidays, one MQG Charity challenge binding job, and just regular busy life – and I finally got back to the bag. Since I put it on my 2016 Q1 Finish-a-Long goals, I thought it was time to get it done. It is mid-March after all.
The sheep on the exterior fabric crack me up (ewe’s not fat….ewe’s fluffy!) and I added a sheep pin cushion and a sheep slip pocket instead of a needle landing felt (going rogue!) to the bag interior.
I can hardly wait to take it to my next sewing outing!
Cross off one 2016 Q1 Finish-a-long goal. Linking up with Debbie over at A Quilter’s Table.
This turned out so darling! The ewes are perfect here!! I’ll share your finish on the FAL fb page – yay!
Thank you, Debbie!
Your bag is wonderful, with sheep in all the right places!
Thank you, Marla!
Super Cute!
This is a super bag. Love the sheep and fabric choices. Sadly my ST bags don’t bear such close scrutiny re finish but they are so useful.
I love every piece of fabric you have used for your bag…just so gorgeous!
That sheep fabric is awesome! It looks fantastic. Thank you for participating in the 2016 FAL, on behalf of the global FAL hosts :o)
Really, really cute! Love how you used your fabrics.
